Dr. Ahmad Khan, a national of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, is a career environmental management professional with over twenty five years of experience in implementing strategies and programmes to improve the environmentally sound management of wastes and chemicals in the Small Island Developing States of the Caribbean. His career began in 1987 in marine pollution monitoring and control before moving away from research and development into the application of engineered solutions to the management of waste and chemicals from the petroleum and petrochemical sectors in 1991. In 1996, Dr. Khan took on the challenge of offering environmental management services to a wide cross section of industrial and commercial sectors in the Eastern Caribbean. During this period, Dr. Khan designed bioremediation facilities, sanitary landfills and chemical waste incineration facilities currently in operation in Trinidad and Tobago and in some of the Small Island Developing States in the Caribbean. By late 2011, deeply concerned over the poor management of wastes and chemicals in the Caribbean, Dr. Khan took up the opportunity to move a regional integrated waste and chemicals management agenda for the Caribbean forward through the Multilateral Environmental Agreements process. Senior Hydrologist, Water Resource Agency (Presenter)David Samm is employed at the Water Resources Agency of the Water and Sewerage Authority as a Senior Hydrologist. He began his career in the technical field of operational hydrology. He has risen to the professional ranks through training and study with 35 years’ experience in the water management sector.

Davinder Pal Sharma received B.Sc. in Electronics (1997), M.Sc. with specialisation in Microelectronics & Material Science (1999) and Ph.D. in Communication Signal Processing (2004), all from Guru Nanak Dev University, India. He has 16 years of University level teaching and research experience. Currently he is Lecturer in Electronics at Department of Physics, The University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago. His current research interests include Smart Grid Technology, Automatic Speech Recognition and Modelling of Fuel Cells. He is author of the book entitled “Digital Signal Processing” and has 38 publications in reputed journals and conferences. Dr. Sharma has organized many workshops, technical festivals, seminars and public lectures. He is currently leading The UWI T&T RDI funded project on “Capacity Building and Research on Smart Grid Technology for the Caribbean Region”.

Kevin Atwaroo is an Electrical Engineer at T&TEC with 10 years’ experience in project management, contract negotiation and administration. I also provide technical support for renewable energy projects and demonstrate skills in project planning and business management. I hold a B.Sc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an M.Sc in Project Management from the UWI, St. Augustine and an MBA (International) from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
Founder & Executive Managing Director, Germi-Nation Farms Ltd (Presenter)
Ms. Kinda Campo is the founder and executive managing director of an agri-business company called Germi-Nation Farms Ltd. which was established in September 2013. Its' mission is to farm with a difference which is what Ms Campo and her team have done to date. From their innovative way of growing crops S.A.F.E farming where they produce their own natural fertilizers, to their unique business model conceptualized by Mr. Anton Robinson of land development, where the company is paid to develop privately owned land into agricultural estates whose produce is sold commercially to generate profits for the land owners. Since then the company has since evolved to its latest business venture called ag-venture parks "agriculture-adventure" parks which would entail: pick your own food, nature hike trails, natural jungle gyms, natural rock climbing, zip lining, natural pools build in a river, picnic areas and monthly get together parties. The first park is hoping to be launched by August 2017 and is actually hosting its first event in July 2016 “Jazz in the tree tops.”
CEO, Trinidad & Tobago Solid Waste Company Ltd (Presenter)
Ronald Roach is currently the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Solid Waste Management Company Limited. His substantive post is that of General Manager Operations which includes the management of the three municipal waste disposal sites as well as waste collection, equipment maintenance and recycling activities. He has participated in a number of projects including a National Medical Waste Classification Survey, National Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Plan, Lead Remediation Exercise for the Demerara Community and the National Waste Management Strategy and Action Plan. Ronald is a graduate of the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management through the Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft, a German Institution involved in Technical Cooperation and Training. Ronald has 23 years experience in the Operations and Maintenance field, 18 of these in a managerial capacity and 10 years experience in the waste management industry.
Adil is a digital nomad, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at MAQTOOB a UK/Singapore based startup, w hich aids entrepreneurs in finding the best available apps, provide and share feedback, improve their productivity, save time, and slash the costs. Prior to co-founding MAQTOOB, he worked as a quality control expert, startup operations & SaaS sales manager, an architect and business developer for GapBuster Worldwide, TripAdvisor and Oyster.
